I survived my colonscopy. It was a surreal experience. I'm glad to have it done.

Last Saturday was a busy one -- an Art Fest and Plant Sale at one school; a production of "Wizard of Oz" at another school. Busy, but a very enjoyable way to spend a Saturday.

At the Art Fest, we picked up some pieces from student and adult artists; and from the adjoining plant sale, we picked up very young tomato plants, basil plants, a few indoor plants, and some lavendar. Planting season is here in the Northeast, and I couldn't be happier about it.

With that in mind, I also placed an order with the American Meadows company. I've had good luck with their wildflower seeds in the past, and I'm looking forward to hopefully growing another couple of wildflower gardens around the properties for native pollinators and honeybees to thrive around. Among the order were also some lupine and zinnia seeds. I've been wanting to plant lupine for two years now, and I'm excited to make that dream a reality.

Meanwhile, the big trees out front are now in full bloom -- two white, two pink. I looked outside today and marvelled at the intense pollinator activity already taking place amongst those fresh tree-bound blooms. Really just beautiful.

I'll attempt to add some photos and links to this post tomorrow.

I've added those photos below :)
